With twelve years of expertise in print, digital, environmental, and trade show design, Arlene Calandria uses her knowledge, professionalism, and creativity to bring superior results to her work. She can be relied on to manage all aspects of a project. She works with clients during the planning phase, finishes the design, and manages post-production aspects of a job until it is complete and in the client’s hands. She consistently exceeds clients’ expectations by getting projects in on time and within the budget.
In 2006 she began her career as a Senior Desktop Publisher at insurance giant, Willis Group. Arlene’s work ethic and skill was recognized in 2008 when she was promoted to the role of Graphic Designer. One of her most valuable strengths is her ability to work synergistically with her co-workers and stakeholders to complete projects ahead of schedule while maintaining high quality of output.
Arlene’s extensive training in Advanced Computer Graphics (Parsons The New School for Design) enables her to tackle the most challenging design problems efficiently, using the most up-to-date technology available in the field of graphic design. Her study of Television and Radio Communications (B.A., CUNY) has enabled her to make smart decisions about how to present products, identities, and ideas.
